In this role, you will design and implement integrations between leading security platforms, helping customers unify data, automate responses, and streamline cybersecurity operations.<br/><br/>Youll work across the entire technical stack - from backend microservices and APIs to intuitive, responsive user interfaces.
Your work will directly enhance how security teams collect, analyze, and act on critical data.<br/><br/>If you thrive in environments where complex systems meet elegant engineering, this role is for you.<br/><br/><b>What Youll Do :</b></p><p><p><b> </b></p><br/><p><b>Backend Engineering : </b></p></p><p><br/></p><p>- Design, build, and maintain backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, and microservices in languages such as TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or Go.<br/><br/>- Develop high-performance data ingestion pipelines capable of normalizing, transforming, and routing large volumes of security telemetry.<br/><br/>- Integrate with third-party security tools, SaaS platforms, and enterprise systems using SDKs, event streams, or custom APIs.<br/><br/>- Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data transmission aligned with modern security best practices.<br/><br/>- Write clean, extensible, testable code with attention to maintainability and scalability.<br/><br/><b>Frontend Engineering :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Build and maintain modern UI components and features using React, Angular, or Vue.<br/><br/>- Work closely with design and product teams to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences.<br/><br/>- Implement dashboards, configuration UIs, workflow builders, and data-rich components for security operators.<br/><br/>- Ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility across all user-facing features.<br/><br/><b>DevOps & Cloud :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Deploy and manage services in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.<br/><br/>- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and environment management.<br/><br/>- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes (or similar technologies).<br/><br/>- Monitor application health and participate in performance tuning and observability enhancements.<br/><br/><b>Collaboration & Process :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, story grooming, retrospectives, and daily standups.<br/><br/>- Collaborate across teams (Security, Product, QA, and DevOps) to deliver high-impact features.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot issues across the stack, including application logic, performance bottlenecks, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.<br/><br/>- Contribute to documentation, design discussions, architectural reviews, and integration guides.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python (other languages welcome: Go, C++, Java).<br/><br/>- Experience building backend services, APIs, and data-driven pipelines.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system-design abilities.<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with cloud-native concepts.<br/><br/>- Understanding of security best practices across both frontend and backend development.<br/><br/>- Comfortable working in Agile, iterative development environments.<br/><br/><b>Bonus Points :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Experience integrating with enterprise systems (SIEMs, EDRs, IAM platforms, ticketing systems, etc.).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, PyTest, or equivalent.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or infrastructure-as-code tools.<br/><br/>- Past experience deploying or maintaining scalable, distributed applications in production cloud environments.<br/><br/>- Contributions to open-source projects, technical blogging, or speaking at developer/security events.<br/><br/>- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as event streaming, incident response workflows, detection engineering, or threat intelligence.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
