<p>Department: Revenue Management / Sales Operations.<br/><br/>Role Summary:<br/><br/>We are looking for an experienced Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) expert to join our team in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector.<br/><br/>This senior role is critical in shaping and executing pricing and promotional strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.<br/><br/>You will work closely with cross-functional teams to convert strategic objectives into operational excellence, offering data-driven insights to enhance commercial performance.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:<br/><br/>Develop Revenue Strategies:<br/><br/>- Lead the formulation and implementation of pricing, promotion, and assortment strategies to boost revenue and profitability across different channels and customer segments.<br/><br/>Pricing Optimization:<br/><br/>- Build and manage dynamic pricing models based on market trends, competitor actions, and customer behavior.<br/><br/>- Ensure pricing effectiveness across all product lines and geographies.<br/><br/>Trade Promotion Effectiveness:<br/><br/>- Design, evaluate, and optimize trade promotions to improve ROI.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to align promotional efforts with business goals.<br/><br/>Analytics & Insights:<br/><br/>- Utilize analytics and BI tools to generate actionable insights.<br/><br/>- Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous performance improvement.<br/><br/>Cross-functional Alignment:<br/><br/>- Partner with sales, marketing, finance, product development, and supply chain teams to drive unified revenue management initiatives.<br/><br/>- Share knowledge and train stakeholders on SRM practices.<br/><br/>Market Intelligence:<br/><br/>- Conduct regular market and competitive analysis to inform strategy.<br/><br/>- Leverage insights to shape pricing and promotional tactics for competitive advantage.<br/><br/>Revenue Forecasting:<br/><br/>- Lead revenue and margin forecasting efforts.<br/><br/>- Adapt strategies in response to changing market dynamics or internal business performance.<br/><br/>Technology & Tools:<br/><br/>- Stay abreast of new technologies in revenue management.<br/><br/>- Support the implementation and optimization of advanced analytics platforms.<br/><br/>Leadership & Mentoring:<br/><br/>- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.<br/><br/>- Build a high-performing team with a strong foundation in SRM best Masters degree in Business, Finance, or a related field from a Tier-1 8- 10 years in revenue management, pricing, or strategic sales roles within the CPG industry.<br/><br/>- Experience in large CPG firms or analytics consulting firms is an advantage.<br/><br/>Core Competencies:<br/><br/>- Deep knowledge of revenue growth management, pricing strategies, trade promotion, and trade architecture.<br/><br/>- Proven experience deploying AI/ML-based enterprise analytics solutions for revenue optimization.<br/><br/>- Advanced skills in analytics and BI tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, etc.)<br/><br/>- Familiarity with syndicated data sources (e.g, Nielsen, Kantar, IRI).<br/><br/>- Strategic thinking with a track record of delivering measurable improvements.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort handling large data sets.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the leadership level<br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
